Many names have been used to describe the kind of poetry to be found on this blogzine: avant-garde, postmodern, experimental, post-avant or linguistically innovative poetry, for example. The names of the different schools are even more varied, including such as beat, LANGUAGE poetry, conceptualist, flarf, etc.

I’m going to chicken out and not even try to define it. All I know is that it is definitely not mainstream! Let me just call it ‘unusual’ and have done with the problem. Whatever it is that we do, it is welcome here if it is good.

There is an associated closed group page on Facebook, where I hope to encourage discussion without flaming: we all have a great deal to learn from each other. The members of the group page are some of the poets whose work is published on the magazine as well as dedicated readers. You can find it at:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/538842092934505/

I hope you find the magazine to be of interest.
